What We Take
No need to sort the good from the bad or guess what qualifies. Here’s exactly what ABQ Reclaimed collects on a free pickup — and the short list of what we can’t.
Shirts, pants, jeans, dresses, skirts, sweaters, suits, activewear, sleepwear, underlayers — men’s, women’s, and unisex.
Children’s and baby clothing of every size, plus the bins of outgrown things in the closet.
Jackets, winter coats, rain shells, vests, ponchos — every season, all welcome year-round.
Sneakers, dress shoes, boots, sandals, heels, work boots. Pairs preferred, but bring the singles too.
Handbags, purses, backpacks, belts, hats, scarves, gloves, ties, and costume jewelry.
Sheets, blankets, comforters, towels, curtains, tablecloths, and fabric yardage.
Decades out of fashion is not a problem — older pieces are often the most useful to us.
Scrubs, work shirts, coveralls, and uniform pieces in wearable shape.
One bag or an entire household. See our whole-house cleanout.
Stained, torn, missing buttons, faded, out of style, mismatched — bring it all. We sort every piece by hand afterward. Wearable items get cleaned and resold; worn-out textiles are routed to recycling. Your only job is to bag it and point us at it.
We keep it to clothing and textiles. These fall outside what we can responsibly handle:
We’re soft-goods only — we’ll point you to a hauler.
These can’t be salvaged and spoil the rest of the load.
Bed bugs or moths, unfortunately, are a no.
Chemical, oil, or biohazard contamination.
Outside our lane — not a textile.
Books, dishes, decor — a junk hauler is the better call.
Not sure about something? Just ask when you call — 702-496-4214. When in doubt, bag it; we’d rather sort it than see it tossed.
Schedule a free pickup — we’ll come get it.
