When the temperature drops, a warm coat matters — and most closets hold a few that no one wears anymore. Abq Reclaimed makes it easy to move them along with free, contactless winter coat pickup right from your Albuquerque doorstep.

What to set out

Puffer jackets, wool coats, kids' snow gear, fleece, gloves, scarves, and hats — bag them all. We take coats and cold-weather clothing in any condition. Gently used pieces are rehomed to people who need warmth; worn-out ones are passed on for recycling instead of the trash.

A simple seasonal habit

As you swap your closet for winter, pull the coats you reached past last year. They will not get worn this year either. Request a pickup, leave the bag by the door, and reclaim the closet space.

Before you ask — the honest limits. Abq Reclaimed is just me, and I run a few community projects at once. So free pickups are limited and entirely at my discretion — I can't take everything, and some weeks I can't do pickups at all. Send a photo and I'll tell you honestly whether I can fit it in; if I can't, I'll point you elsewhere. (Prefer to drop off? We can sometimes arrange that by appointment.) When I do collect, a few days later I send you a Reclaim Receipt telling you where your stuff went.
